South.Point Tuggeranong

My favourite mall because it was the mall that I grew up with. So many amazing memories. It will forever be the hyperdome to me. It has a huge variety of places to eat and shop for clothes which is awesome. I really miss the big retro Hungry Jacks and Myer though.

Family Fun: The new kids play area at "The Point" is a lifesaver for keeping the little ones entertained, while parents can relax and recharge. Beyond Shopping: Need a car wash? Groceries? A haircut? A massage? South Point has you covered with these conveniences and more, including a cinema for some post-shopping entertainment. Things to Consider: Parking is paid, so factor that into your budget. Tip:First two hours are free but if you are going to the cinema, walk with your ticket and ask for the extension! South Point Tuggeranong offers a wide variety of shops, restaurants, and entertainment options, making it a great choice for a family outing or a solo shopping spree.

Shoppers beware. I am disabled with CRPS (chronic regional pain syndrome) and suffer from significant muscle and tissue necrosis. It has just cost me AGAIN (several times now) $6.00 for 13 minutes parking. The car management’s solution is “come in and find a park leave under the 3 hours and then drive back in find another park, finish my shopping and then I will have 6 hours free parking. All very well for a person that is not disabled. Centre management was not helpful but they did say being disabled we give you an hour free. Bully for that. I can shop and will be shopping local now. Southland just lost a customer that spends nearly $300.00 a week in just two shops. Glad they can afford losing that amount of revenue weekly

Still the Hyperdome to me. A lot has changed, bur still good to come and visit. Although I would love to see more local businesses. Every shopping centre has the same shops and cafes, and I'd love to support more local.

Enjoying lunch at the Patio in the Southern Cross Club. The atmosphere in the Patio is quite, intimate, with window views of the surrounding area. The food was served quickly and was fresh, crispy, and delicious. You order it yourself from the cafe. The clubs recent renovations make a huge difference and I will be returning more often.
