Myer Hobart

August 16th ordered a $350 jacket online for Father’s Day event on September 1st, after two weeks it hadn’t shipped. I contacted them and they gave me a case number and said I should wait 5 days for someone to be in touch. After 7 days no one had contacted me and Father’s Day was over. I contacted them again and they told me to wait another 5 days! I said I wanted a refund and they said they couldn't give me one, I would have to wait for someone to get in touch. I asked to talk to a supervisor and they said a supervisor would be in contact me within 48 hours! What a joke and abysmal shopping experience. I will never purchase from Myer again.

We were staying in Hobart during the Christmas period & shopped in Myer a few times. Always found staff to be helpful without being pushy. When shopping for fragrance I was flat out finding any testers which were full. Lots of bargains in the fashion departments & particularly enjoyed the well stocked Review franchise

I am addicted to looking at and buying shoes both in store and online. I was looking for a comfortable pair for overseas travel. It was in Myer Hobart on Tuesday 23 July late PM where I often look and buy. I was dressed ok. Jeans, jumper and puffer with sketchers shoes. I picked 3 shoes to try. One I asked for a price check. She asked about the size and I said the size was right. She came back with the shoe and queried the size again and had the bigger size too. I was being scrutinised. I again said the size I had was right. She left the shoe. She left the floor via the lift. Immediately the other girl came over to check if I was "taking" any. I said no. She then asked if I was "taking" the ones I had on. I said something like "if I don't you'll have to give me another pair". The shoes I had on were not even purchased at Myer but online. I was very offended by the accusation that I was going to steal a pair of shoes. I'm 70 in a couple of months and very disappointed in Myer staff. The man that's usually there is so helpful.

Good place if you have got money. Couldn't find clothes for my size. The ambience is quite good and not very busy.
